WHY PILATES?

The Pilates method has been designed to strengthen the whole body, to improve posture and to increase flexibility. The exercises are particularly effective for correcting poor upper back posture and strengthening the glutes, abdominals and the core, reducing back ache. In additon to this Pilates can help to stabilise the shoulder girdle and the pelvis, preventing or reducing localised joint issues or other issues that have stemmed from these areas.

Since qualifying as a Stott Pilates Instructor in 2011 I have been offering 1-2-1 Pilates instruction both at Lord's Cricket Ground in London, and at client homes in as part of my mobile training service. I also had the privelidge of working for three years as on-site Pilates Instructor for Members of the Royal Household.

FEEDBACK

"I was new to Pilates when we started working with Louise and I could not have asked for a better instructor. She provides extremely clear guidance and talks you through the moves at every stage, demonstrating alongside you when necessary.

I have always struggled with my flexibility but after regular weekly sessions with Louise this has improved a lot along with my posture and overall core strength. The sessions push you a little harder each time but still remain fun and enjoyable, which is the most important aspect. Louise is always positive and a great motivator and I could not recommend her more highly."
